Using the Cognitive Interweave: The Art & Science of EMDR Therapy

This advanced workshop is about how and when to apply cognitive interweave strategies using the Clinical Interweave Categories (CIC) developed by Laliotis & Korn (2015), to address the demands of EMDR therapy through the lens of attachment. A review of the adult attachment styles will be offered as a conceptual map to help identify what is needed moment-to-moment when processing early attachment trauma.
