Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP)

The accessibility of EMDR therapy in emergency and disaster situations is often limited by the shortage of trained clinicians  immediately available when relatively large numbers of trauma victims are involved. This workshop gives a brief  overview of the Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP) and presents the G-TEP, this new practical group application, with its unique worksheet format for simplified utilization in emergency situations. The G-TEP will be taught with video illustrations and a practice. The EMDR R-TEP and G-TEP have shown beneficial results in controlled studies conducted by Turkish colleagues working with Syrian refugees.
